Windows 10: How to block application execution in a certain path

I want to block application execution in a certain directory. For example, blocking C:\dontrun\*.exeI tried two things to achieve this but neither is working. When I double click C:\dontrun\dontrun.exe, it just starts normally.What I tried are;1. Software Restriction Policies I created Additional Rules entries for two paths just to make sure; "C:\dontrun" and "C:\dontrun\*" Both are set to Disallow.2. AppLocker I created an Executable Rule for "%OSDRIVE%\dontrun\*" set to Deny for Everyone. I also set Application Identity Service to Automatic Trigger start by changing the Reg value of "\H

How do I find the application executable that is blocked by Control Folder Access.

I turned on Control Folder Access. When I run a application that is not trusted I get a notification that shows an abbreviated path due to notification length restrictions. I save it to view it under Notifications it is still not readable. I click on it
to expand the message and it goes away. I have tried going to the "Allow an app through Controlled folder". Instead of showing a list of apps it displays File Manager expecting me to find the executable. Since I cannot read the path or executable in the notification
I cannot add the app to the list of allowed apps.

Is there a log that displays the entire notification?

Is there a log of app names blocked?

Suggestions:

1. If you are going to use notifications to advise an app is blocked display the executable only. That way I can search for the executable.

2, Give the option of accepting/denying the app access in the Notification.

Problem with Path Application

my Path application on Microsoft Lumia 535 doesn't working, friends that tag me on their post not coming to my notification. so as suggestion i uninstall my Path and then install again. but when i searching on Windows Store there is no Path Application on
list. i'm checking my Phone Update and it was already updated.

so anyone can help me? maybe there is any same case like me?

Windows Defender or another antivirus software will sometimes block a certain app or file from running or being installed. With this, you can check the

• What is the exact error message did you receive after launching or running the app?
• Which antivirus program are you using?

In the meantime, we suggest disabling the Windows Defender SmartScreen and see if the app will run. To do this, simply follow the steps below:

• Type Windows Defender on the search box and click on the first option.
• On the left side of the window, click on the Window icon (App & browser control).
