  1. How to block websites from modifying browser settings?

    Hello guys,

There is one site www.digitaltrends.com which I have seen to be able to whitelist its cookies automatically in browser settings. While I am surprised it is able to do that, what is baffling is there is no way to delete it, unless you reset the browser. This is a problem because all browser settings will have to be reconfigured and is an avoidable waste of time and effort.

This site adds [*.]digitaltrends.com to the 'Allow' section on this page automatically. And the delete button next to it is greyed out making it impossible to delete without a browser reset.

I had to reset my browser and add this domain into the 'Block' list. But this is only a solution for this site. I don't want to keep resetting the browser if some other site does the same.

I am on the latest version of Brave browser, and all the settings have been configured to keep the browser as secure and private as possible. Yet this happened.

How to solve this problem and prevent it from happening in future?

    :)
