  1. How to boot between two Windows 11 drives with separate timezones?

Hello! I have two different Windows 11 installations running on two different drives on my system. One is for work, which should be set to CST. The other is for personal use, which is set to PST. However, when I switch between the two systems using the dual boot menu, the timezone often gets inherited from the previous settings. To clarify, here's an example.Today I logged into my work drive. My timezone was set to CST.I restarted the computer and choose my personal drive.Although I had previously set the timezone on my personal account to PST, it changed to CST. It seemed to "remember" t

    Can't boot from DVD drive

Is your controller in RAID/AHCI modes? If so, the DVD drive will be listed as a separate device in the list of available boot devices, not as "CDROM". Remember that when setting boot device priority. Otherwise, read the manual to see which hotkey during POST brings up the boot menu that lets you select which device to boot from. Even here, the drive will be listed separately, and not as "CDROM".

    timezone is 11 hours off

You probably already have, but did you check all of these? NIST is one of the choices for time server, you don't need a separate program. Also here:

How to Install and Use TWO Separate Windows 11 installations on the same machine?

Hello, I'm Greg, here to help you with this.

For Dual Booting on the same physical drive follow this same tutorial for 10/11: https://nerdschalk.com/how-to-dual-boot-windows...

With separate hard drives/SSD's I would install them separately with the other drive unplugged, then when plugging the other drive back in, set the preferred Windows Boot Manager for that drive first to boot in UEFI setup, boot the other one using the one-time BIOS boot interrupt menu choosing Windows Boot Manager for the other drive. This keeps them independently bootable whereas if you install on separate drives with both connected, it will use the EFI System partition on the first-installed drive to boot the second drive, too.

If you don't like this arrangement you can install EasyBCD to the primary OS and add the other one to a Windows Boot Menu. It will only add the menu, it won't take away the ability for each drive to boot it's OS independently.

Feel free to ask back any questions. Based on the detailed results you post back, I will have other suggestions if necessary.
