Windows 10: How to boot off second HDD using EasyBCD

I have a Win 7 "crap" partition on the second HDD in my system. I use it when I need to to run tests, like downloading some new utility. Up to now, I've been using the BIOS with boot priority override to boot into this drive.

So today I used EasyBCD and added another boot entry. That would be simpler than always going into the BIOS. No problem adding that entry. But when I tried to boot into that partition, I got an error message and could not boot successfully. I had to restart and boot from my main Windows partition, on the first HDD (actually an SSD).

What did I not do right? I checked the NEOSmart website, and could not find any useful info.

No option to run Windows 10 after recovery of Windows 8.1

Use EasyBCD to add a boot menu:

You can use EasyBCD - free download to add the menu back.

Boot to the Windows 10 desktop.

Download EasyBCD then install it

Launch it then add a boot entry for Windows 7

You will see the return of the graphical boot manager.

The C: drive is the drive I'm booted into. The D: drive is the drive for the other boot drive. You have to change the D: drive to match your drive.
