Windows 10: How to boot your computer with a live CD & copy the pagefile.sys to another computer?

I am using a computer with Windows 7.I had some text in a Notepad .txt file which I hadn't saved. I was using the computer when it crashed & restarted itself.I looked online for a way to try & find a temporary file of the .txt file. I looked in C:\Users\User\AppData. I found some .txt files, but none of them had the text in them that I had typed into the Notepad before the computer crashed.One suggestion made in some YouTube videos said:"there is a very slight chance Windows may have paged out notepad.exe's memory to the page file. You should power off your system immediately hold

I would suggest you to follow the steps below:

• 
  Press Windows key + X.
  
• 
  Click file explorer from the list.
  
• 
  Select the CD/DVD drive and hit Enter.
  
• 
  Select the files you want to copy from the CD/DVD, then select the drive where you want to paste or save.

hi my pagefile sys went up suddenly to 11 gb while was playing game and after like end match in game it went back to normal how it was before it maked first time i think is it normal

 

Cannot save the photos from a cd to my computer

How exactly are you trying to save the photos from CD to Computer?

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

Open the picture folder form CD by inserting it to the Computer.

• Select the pictures and right click and click on copy.
• Open the folder from Computer where you want to save it.
• Right click on this folder and click on paste.
