Windows 10: How to bring up Windows 10 bypassing Pin using Cmd prompt.

My computer comes up asking for a PIN number since last Windows update. I do not have the Pin as I had been using the Password to get in. I can get into Troubleshooter and can utilize the Cmd prompt. I have setup an Administrator user and it is active. I have disabled the built in user. I am in the Safe mode. And running under Network, I am not able to use many of the Cmds under the Cmd prompt. I searched for but could not find the flag in the Registry that allows the user to use either PW or Pin. The phone number shown for reset is my old number and is not a text number. My phone co.

Yes, the command prompt in Windows 10 is same as Windows 8. You can open the Command prompt by following methods.

• Press Windows key + X and click on Command prompt.
  

(OR)

• Press Windows Key + X and click on Command prompt (admin) to open
  cmd with admin privileges.

(OR)

• Press Windows key + R, type cmd and hit
  Enter.

File Explorer not opening via pinned Taskbar icon on Windows 10

I suggest you to unpin the File explorer from the task bar and re-pin the File Explorer and check If issue is resolved. If issue persist, I suggest you to follow the below given steps and check if it helps:



I suggest you to run System file checker. System File checker (SFC) scan is done to check if there are any corrupted system files that could be causing this issue. Kindly follow the below given steps:

• Press Windows key + X, select
  Command prompt (Admin) to bring up elevated Command prompt.
• In Command prompt type sfc/scannow and press enter.
• Restart the computer.

If no corrupted system files were found in the previous state, then I suggest you to try the following steps:

• Open command prompt by pressing Windows key + X and selecting “Command prompt admin”.
• In command prompt, type the following commands and press Enter after each command:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

• Close the command prompt and restart the PC and check if it works.

Low ping from cmd prompt high ping in game

Now the ping times are normal again 35ms-38ms cmd prompt 41ms from pingtest site. Just tested it 20min ago with 0 bandwidth usage on the router's monitor and got 35-38ms cmd prompt 160-350ms from 3 different ping test sites. As far as I can tell its completely random, the cmd prompt latency numbers are always same.

I can live with this, I have for a long time now. I just want to make some sense of it.
