Windows 10: How to buy windows 10 license now that the store only offers win11?

I have a very old computer which was running windows 7. I installed win10 and now need to buy a win10 license key. But the microsoft store does not seem to offer any pre-win11 licenses now.

As far as I know, Win11 licenses aren't currently on the market. Every site which claims that you can buy it there can be a scam site. Windows 10 keys are usable on Win11.

 

Buying a Windows Server License

Server 2016 is not yet for sale. You can, however, buy Server 2012 and 2012R2 from various resellers, although most "official" resellers are likely out of stock since MS is in the middle of transitioning from 2012 to 2016.

Most people don't buy Windows Server at retail, they tend to buy it through volume licensing, which you can still get.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
