Windows 10: how to cancel an Expired Subscription?

when Microsoft did the $1 for a month of the xbox game pass, i signed up using the funny enough the $1 i had in my account.

the issue occurs when I have no currency in my xbox account or my secondary payment, which is through credit card. I don't want to

pay for any more of the game pass but the only way to cancel the recurring bill is to pay up $10 for a new month of game pass, only

for me to instantly cancel it making it a waste.

can someone plz help me.
