Windows 10 Reboots when I send a print job to my Brother printer

I recently upgraded to Window 10 from Window 7 and everything seems to work except for one annoying thing. I have a Brother color laser printer and when I send a print job the job goes to the printer and prints completely but the computer will restart or
shutdown. After the restart it returns to the same screen and indicates the job printed successfully.

I have removed the printer, deleted the drivers and ports, uninstalled all brother software, reinstalled, and it does the same thing. It will do this if I print through the network connection or USB. It does not seem to do it for the Epson color inkjet.

Another oddity is when I stick a sheet of paper into the printer manual feed the computer will restart.

I don't know how but I seem to have the 2-sided print set as the default. I did have the printer listed more than once. I deleted all of them before trying the last install. I use my Brother laser printer for most of my printing. I only use the Epson when I need color prints. My son went back to Community College and needs to be able do 2-sided color printing more than me.

 

Printing job error stuck in printer's queue (HP LaserJet 1005/Win10)

I accidentally tried to print a PDF document while the printer was off.
As result, there is a printing job with error in queue.
And as result no other printing job can go through.

I tried to cancel the job but it say it has cancellation error or something like that.

I tried this How To Delete Or Cancel Hung Print Jobs In Windows | We Rock Your Web + reboot but failing printing job stays in queue.

I tried to log in with the administrator account and uninstall the printer and/or drivers but it this crashed the printer management window or at best says the printer is under use.
