Windows 10: How to change administrator without the administrator account

Hi!I have some difficulties at work. Normally, or like on the other computers my IT-coworker is the administrator, but not on the one I have. The administrator on this program doesn't work here anymore, and she is deleted from the firm. We've tried to contact support at the firm, but no response yet. Is there ANY way to delete her from being the administrator on this computer? There are so many things we want to do, like downloading different things on the computer that I need for my job, but it's impossible so far. I'm reaching out to you to hopefully help my IT-coworker a little bit. My new

Administrator Account

One of our user changed their administrator account to a local account. I'm trying to change it back to an administrator account, but you are always asked to sign in as the administrator. Kind of like a catch 22 situations -- does any one have a suggestion?

Boot into Windows as administrator

You set up the admin password when installing XP, but most the time people believe it is for their individual account and not the Administrator one. As for Vista, like stated before, the initial account created is an administrator account, and if necessary, you may need to right click certain programs to "Run as Administrator"

• What are the steps you have tried to change the Admin rights?
• How many accounts have you configured in your computer?

Try the below steps if you have not tried:

• Open Control Panel (Move the cursor to the lower/left corner of the screen and
  Right Click, select Control Panel on the menu.
• In Control Panel, select User Accounts.
• Select Manage another account.

This will show all of the user accounts on the computer. If there is an Administrator account it will show that designation.

• Sign Out and log on with any Administrator Account.
• Go back to Control Panel/User Accounts.
• Select Manage another account and then select the Standard account you wish to change.
• Select the Change Account Type option.
• Select the Administrator option to change the account and click the
  Change Account Type button.

If there are no other Administrator Accounts, let us know and we can try another recovery method.
