The procedure for changing the birth year of a Microsoft zccount is here:

https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/8.... If this doesn't work, then you'll have to contact Microsoft support at Contact Us - Microsoft Support. That should allow you to chat with an agent. I have to warn you, though: chances are you won't be able to get it changed.

I'm not sure what gmail has to do with it, since Microsoft accounts and gmail accounts are unrelated. Perhaps you used your gmail address as the username for the Microsoft account.
