    How to change brush size in Microsoft Paint without keypad


    The shortcut to adjust brush size by one pixel in Microsoft Paint does not function on a keyboard without a numpad, is there any way to fix it? I have no numpad, and the change brush size hotkey is [Ctrl + numpad plus/minus] and it does NOT work with the plus or minus on the standard keyboard. This seems like such an incredibly basic feature to implement so poorly that the majority of laptop users won't be able to access it at all. The on-screen keyboard method does not work, I am not going to navigate through 3 menus and manually click a button until the brush size is big enough every time

    • Are you referring to Paint Brush?

    Turning Off Brush Tool in Paint

    After using the brush tool in Paint, I have been unable to figure out how to turn it off, to switch to a different tool (Crop).

    Simply clicking on Crop doesn't do anything.

    Any suggestions?

    I have purchased dell 3520 new laptop with window 11. In paint brush application the eraser size not increasing with Ctrl + plus keys, neither size is reducing with Ctrl + minus keys.
