    How to change colors back to defaul colors on my Acer monitor


    2 or 3 years ago I changed my monitor colors to give me a black background with white font to make it easier on my old eyes. Subsequent automatic updates have modified the layout on my Windows 10 control panel and I don't recall how I made that change. So, my question is; how do I change my colors back to the original default colors of a white background with black font? Please Help!

    Monitor´s colors changes between partly colors and "background´s" colors becomes graytype

    I use Windows 10 64 bit

    ADM Radeon HD7770 + Acer B276HUL monitor

    ADM Radeon Driver is from it, monitor driver is Microsoft PnP Driver 21.6.2006 / version 10.0.10240.16384

    After updating / changing to windows 10, my monitor´s colors are changing have all time.

    Earlier monitor colors were ok, stable colors

    Now, when using pc, by time irregularly colors stay on ok in program what I look for but "background" / others open softwares´colors "drops" to non - colored type ( i.s. gray type)

    What is a problem?

    Acer monitor do not have its own driver and what ever I try to install / uninstall, monitor´s driver remain same note:

    Best available driver is installed = PnP, Microsoft 21.6.2006 ver. 10.0.10240.16384

    but, but

    system is not working in Windows 10 with my pc.

    What is a problem?

    What to do? to get colors remain on monitor

    Changing the taskbar color to white in Windows 10

    Hi Michael,

    Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community. Your interest in Windows 10 is much appreciated.

    In Windows 10 there is no option for changing the color to white but you can change it to different colors. To change the color of the task bar I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

    • In the search box, type settings.
    • Then select personalization.
    • Click on color option on the left side.
    • You will find an option called “show color on start, taskbar and start icon”.
    • You need to on the option and then you can change the color accordingly.

    Window background color - I don't appear to be able to do this on windows 10 as the change color scheme bit isn't there.

    I suggest you to follow the below steps to change color scheme for Windows 10 and check if it helps.

    • Right click on “Desktop screen”.
    • Then click on “Personalize”.
    • Click on “Colors”.
    • And change the color accordingly.
