Subject: How to Change File Size Display Units in Windows File Explorer from KB to MB? Hello, I would like to know if there is a way to change the file size display units in Windows File Explorer from KB to MB permanently. Currently, file sizes are displayed in KB, which makes it difficult to quickly assess larger file sizes. Is there a built-in setting or a workaround that allows me to view file sizes in MB instead of KB? If not, could this feature be considered for future updates? Thank you for your assistance. Is there a way to make the file size column to display in Mb instead of kb in file explorer?

When I use file explorer in detail view, it displays the file size in kb. Is there a way to make it display the file size in Mb instead of kb? When I use any other view (icons, tiles, list, etc), it displays the file size in Mb, so how do I get that in detail view??

In a file listing in Windows Explorer, I see the file sizes in KB.

How do I have those file sizes simplified and shown in more convenient units like MB, GB etc?

Or, KiB, MiB, GiB

 

Win Explorer is displaying the file size incorrectly, KB where is MB


New Laptop w/Win 10 displayed the file size correctly until this morning.

This morning, they all are KB.

It USES KB instead MB. I know they are MB size.

Example, right window where the files are listed under the SIZE col, all are 00,000 KB.
I know they are large so I went to PROPERTY lists correctly, 00,000 MB.

ANYONE?
