Windows 10: How to change font size in remote session

When the user RDPs to the terminal server from a Surface - the icons and fonts on the desktop are very tiny - how can we increase that size to something more readable. The TS is Server 2008 R2

If you go to screen resolution and try to Make text and other items larger or smaller- all the settings are grayed out. If you log on locally it works fine - but that is not much help.

There must be a way to do it. What am I missing here?

  Click on change font size from the left pane.

I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if you are able to change the font size.

• 
  open Kindle app
  
• 
  Hamburger icon on the top left
  
• 
  Then select settings
  
• 
  Click on options and check if you are able to find options for font settings
  

You can try this short cut by pressing Ctrl button with scrolling your mouse to zoom the screen size.
