    Disable middle click scrolling

    Windows 11.

Whenever you middle click in something that can be scrolled, there's this annoying thing that takes over the mouse and starts scrolling.

Did anyone put this through UX? It's utterly infuriating.

Countless times I middle click for various reasons that never ever relate to wanting to scroll:

    - I want to middle click paste something I've highlighted (because this is what I'm used to in Linux)

    - I want to open what I think is a link in a new browser tab (i dont care what the browser is, it should open in a new tab)

    - I want to close a tab (browser/terminal/etc)

and every time I middle click on something that isn't a link i get locked into this annoying scroll behaviour.

Surely there is some registry entry i can change, or some software i can download or SOMETHING.... ANYTHING to remove this infuriating behaviour????
