  1. How to change mouse cursor scheme through command prompt

Hey,I would like to change my mouse cursor scheme on a work computer which doesn't have administrator permissions as per the organizations settings, but every time I open something like Microsoft Paint, or even just randomly, the mouse cursor will change from my custom scheme to an itty bitty cursor. Is there a way I can prevent that from happening,ORcan I change the mouse cursor scheme through a batch fileThe only constraint I have is that it cannot require Administrator permissions. Thanks!

    :)

command prompt will not open in safe mode with command prompt

Would I just follow the same steps within safe mode after hooking up to the other system?

    Missing mouse cursor style files

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

Please reply to the following questions to get a better understanding on the issue:

    • What is the current scheme selected for the pointers?
    • What happens when you change the pointer scheme to any other scheme?

However, you can follow the steps mentioned below:

    1. Type 'Control Panel' on the search bar.
    2. Select the Control Panel icon and open it.
    3. Click on Mouse.
    4. Click on the Pointer tab.
    5. Click on Use Default to reset the Pointers to Default.
    6. Click on Apply and OK.

Also, I suggest you to post a screenshot of the screen to understand the issue more clearly.

NOTE: While posting the screenshot make sure you don’t have any personal information mentioned displayed.

    Hope it helps.
