Windows 10: How to change my driver for my keyboard

When I booted my pc one day my keyboard stopped working and I tried it on my laptop and it works but for my pc it doesn’t work, I checked device manager and it says “windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing” code 39, and when I look at the events of my keyboard it says “device settings not migrated” and it says that there are two keyboards connected, I am on the latest windows update and when I do “update driver” and search automatically it says I’m on the latest version, I have no idea what’s wrong with it

Keyboard language is being changed on Windows 10

I suggest you to try the below and check if it helps:

Step 1: Update the keyboard drivers.

• Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Keyboard.
• Right on the Keyboard driver and click on
  Update driver software

Also, try to search for the drivers from Manufacturer's website and install them in the compatibility mode.

You can install Windows 8/8.1 drivers in compatibility mode if there are no Windows 10 compatible drivers.

Follow the steps to install in Compatibility mode:

• Download the updated driver from the manufacturer’s website.
• Right click the driver installation file and select
  Properties then tap or click the Compatibility tab.
• Place a check in the Run this program in compatibility mode for: box.
  
• Tap the drop down box and select a previous operating system, then tap or click
  OK.
• Try installing the driver and check.

Keyboard problem in Windows 10

I suggest you to check if the issue persists when you connect another keyboard to your system.

If the issue is with the keyboard, then suggest you to update the keyboard drivers by following the steps below.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Device Manager from the list.
  
• 
  Expand ‘Keyboard’ from the list.
  
• 
  Right click on the driver and select ‘update driver software’ and follow the prompts.

Let’s try updating the driver for the mouse and keyboard and verify the results. Follow the steps:

• 
  Press Windows and X
  key together and select Device Manager.
  
• 
  Locate the Keyboard
  icon. Right click on the driver icon.
  
• 
  Select Update driver software.
  
• 
  Select "browse my computer for a driver software".
  
• 
  Select “Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer”.
  
• 
  Select the driver option according your device model and installed.
  
• 
  If this does not work, follow the steps from ‘1’ to ‘3’ and select “Search automatically for the updated driver”.
  
• 
  Choose the same steps to update the driver for keyboard as well.
  

Check if it resolves the issue. If not, I would suggest you to download and install the latest available drivers for the keyboard from manufacturer website of the computer.
