Windows 10: How to change my Welcome Screen name, Windows 10 laptop.

I need to change my welcome screen name, I have found the same method many times which is not helpful to me.


"Go to Control Panel, User accounts, Change your account name- type in new name - press change name." So I go to Control Panel - User accounts, from here there is no option for me to select " Change your account name" in my User account as it is just not there. The only options I have are 1. Change account type. 2. Manage another account. 3. Change user account control settings.


I am not very tech savy so anything simple would be great. Hope someone can help.

I would suggest you to login in Microsoft account to change the name on welcome screen. In order to change the name refer the step given in below link.

Note: After performing the steps I suggest you to restart the system in order to change the name on welcome screen.

Laptop with broken screen How much?

I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd
