Windows 10: How to change/push StartMenu change for existing users, and allowing them to change this...

Hi,


I am dealing with a group of users who all have windows 10.

I like to offer them a StartMenu template tiles.

I have experimented with GPO and setting a startmenu.

But after that it is hard for users to add a little afterwards.


I know about the possibility of using GPO and then edit the enforced xml, but I hope i can stop the forcing and just use a template or write in a template.

I also played with the registry seting LockedStartlayout in combination with GPO.


Summary:

What procedure can I run on an existing Windows 10 account to get the templated start menu, and allowing a user to make changes?

Standard user allow to change time

Hello,

I suggest you to change the account type from Standard to Administrator and check if it works.

Here are the steps:

Login to your Admin account.

In search type User Account and hit enter.

Click on Manage another account.

Select your Standard user account and click on change the account type.

From this page select Administrator and click on Change account type.

After doing this switch user from Admin account to Standard user account and try to change the date and time.

Hope this works.
