Windows 10: How to change sensitivity of mouse double-click

I have Motor Neurone Disease MND and my body is slowing down. This is affecting the way I use a mouse. However there are other side effects like muscle shake so now whenever I single click it reads as a double click. It's become very frustrating.While windows has a slide under mouse properties to adjust the threshold for double-clicking this opens up the pause between clicks, it doesn't have a slider to affect the other end of the scale and let you set a minimum between clicks to stop really fast clicking from nerve issues.I found one other person on here with same question a couple of years

Problem with mouse sensitivity.

We appreciate your response. Since all possible troubleshooting steps have been exhausted, what we would suggest next for you is to uninstall the latest update. Once the update has been uninstalled, kindly check if the sensitivity of your mouse improves.
Here are the steps to uninstall the latest update:

• Open Settings.
• Go to Update and Security and select Windows Update.
• Select View installed update history.
• Choose the latest update and select uninstall.

Changing mouse sensitivity on the fly?

Probably, your are at the whim of your mouse driver... try googling your mouse model and "sensitivity"

I'm splurging on a G5 for home - I got one at work and it's the tits - two buttons below the wheel change the sensitivity instantly, irregardless of the applicaiton (but you also have that choice). Best mouse I've ever, ever used. So if you do end up buying a mouse... *Smile

any one know of a program. basicly i just want to use a hotkey and change my mouse sensitivity ingame. i dont want to waste money on some gamer mouse, because changing that sensitivity ingame does the same results, but i want to do this on the fly.
