Windows 10: How to change the brightness of the screen and connect the second monitor?

After April 9th, 2025, Windows update, I cannot change the screen's brightness the f2/ f3 buttons don't work, and the option looks like it was "deleted" from the Display menu Settings-> Display-> no brightness change option. Also, I cannot connect the second monitor the HDMI and laptop ports work well. I see 2 different "monitor-related "features that don't work, even after uninstalling the update. To change your Windows 10 monitor brightness, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• Click the Windows logo; then, search for Control Panel.
• Select Hardware and Sound.
• Choose Power Options.
• On the next screen you should see brightness slider at the bottom of the Control Panel window.
