Windows 10: How to change the default folder location for scanned documents on Windows 10 Home Edition

Hello,My computer recently crashed.I reset the OS and now I find that my scanned documents are being saved to the "Documents" sub-folder located within the "My Pictures" folder.Previously when I the scanned documents they would be saved to the "Scanned Documents" folder located on my desktop.How do I change the folder location so that in the future any scanned documents will be saved to the "Scanned Documents" folder located on my desktop?

I suggest you to Restore to Default the folders and document settings and see if it helps.

Step 1:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Download folder.
• Right click on the Download Folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

Step 2:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Documents folder.
• Right click on the Document folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

After performing above steps change the settings as you required and check if it helps.

Can't restore Documents folder to default location

AFTER deleting the OneDrive app (Office 2013) and making a copy of the contents to another drive I noticed that my documents are now actually saving in:

===>c:\users\admin\documents\onedrive\documents.

Again, this is after I had deleted the OneDrive program and making a copy of the contents of My documents in the OneDrive cloud.

I tried to move the documents and also restore to the default location at:

===> c:\users\admin\documents

... but when I try to do that, I get an error:

"The folder can't be move here
Can't move the folder because there is a folder in the same location that can't be redirected. Access is denied."

So how do I restore the Documents folder to each default location? I'd appreciate suggestions or a link to a solution. Thanks.

EDIT: Never mind. Found a batch file which worked with the registry. Solved. Here's the solution:
