Windows 10: How to change the default size of the Restore Down option in Windows File Explorer

For some unknown reason, very recently, the default size of my Windows File Explorer has shrunk to comical level whenever I first open it, so I have to resize it manually every time I use it now, how do I edit its default size when it is not Maximized to full screen?Here is a screenshot of how small it is:

You may change the icons size in the File Explorer to the default view by;

• Open File Explorer and click on
  ‘View’.
  
• Choose the desired icons size (Extra Large Icons/Large Icons/Medium Icons/Small Icons) and set it.
  

You may also run the Automatically diagnose and repair
Windows file and folder problems troubleshooter and check if it works. This will fix the lost or incorrect
View settings or customizations for one or more folders.

File size text displayed weird

I understand that Windows Explorer is displaying the wrong file sizes. To solve this difficulty I suggest that you restore the folder defaults in Windows Explorer. To do this, use the steps below:

1. On the Desktop, simultaneously press the Windows + E keys to open File Explorer;

2. Click File > Change Folder and Search Options;

3. On the Display Mode tab, click and Restore Defaults;

4. Click Apply > Ok.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
