Windows 10: How to change the Document folder from OneDrive to the default location C:\users\documents

Hi,It seems that this problem is haunting me. This is what I did in order to achieve my objective:File Explorer -> OneDrive Personal -> Documents ->PropertiesThen I choose Location on the Property Dialog 1st image, I change the path as in the second Document Properties Image.Then I use the OK button. As a consequence the Move Folder Dialog comes up, which I okay 3rd image.Subsequently I get the error message "The folder can't be moved here". 4th imageThat is the problem I am dealing with. Can anybody help, plesae.

Why are folders in PC (Documents, Desktop, ...) located in users/OneDrive folder as default ?

This was a change made by Microsoft approx. 1 year ago, where all user files were automatically backed up to OneDrive by default - which a lot of users do not want . . .

If you do not need or want OneDrive to have those folder backed up by default, then for each of your user profile library folders (Documents, Pictures . . etc.) right click and choose Properties, then on the location tab you can set that location to the old
defaults . . .

For example, documents needs to be changed from C:\Users\YourName\OneDrive\Documents to C:\Users\YourName\Documents

Please be careful to move those to the correct folders . . .

 

How to change locations of Documents or Pictures to C:\Users\username\Documents or Pictures

In my new computer setup, Windows 10 set up the folders Documents and Pictures under "This PC" to C:\Users\username\OneDrive\Documents and C:\Users\username\OneDrive\Pictures. I want to set up these folders to C:\Users\username\Documents and C:\Users\username\Pictures.
I tried to change location through folder properties\location\restore default. But windows did not allow me to do it, showing an error message "Can't move the folder because there is a folder in the same location that can't be redirected. Access is denied".
How do I change the folders of Documents (Pictures) under "This PC" to
C:\Users\username\Documents (Pictures)? Thanks.

 

Can't restore Documents folder to default location

AFTER deleting the OneDrive app (Office 2013) and making a copy of the contents to another drive I noticed that my documents are now actually saving in: ===>c:\users\admin\documents\onedrive\documents. Again, this is after I had deleted the OneDrive program and making a copy of the contents of My documents in the OneDrive cloud. I tried to move the documents and also restore to the default location at: ===> c:\users\admin\documents ... but when I try to do that, I get an error: "The folder can't be move here Can't move the folder because there is a folder in the same location that can't be redirected. Access is denied." So how do I restore the Documents folder to each default location? I'd appreciate suggestions or a link to a solution. Thanks. EDIT: Never mind.
