Windows 10: How to change the gpu connected to my monitor

I have an integrated gpu which is intel UHD and nvidia but when i connect my 144hz monitor it connects on the intel gpu and the monitor gives me 60 hz max

• What changes did you make in the BIOS? As making the changes in the BIOS is only recommended by Microsoft if done by the manufacturer.
  

• How are you connecting to the 2nd monitor?

BSOD when connecting Sceptre monitor to GPU.

Thanks for your suggestion! Following the steps in the video helped solve the problem with the windows update.
Unfortunately, the monitor problem remains. After contacting Sceptre support it seems like a problem with the monitor itself.
