Windows 10: how to change the line-up of partitions

Greetings to you all.Today i decided to upgrade to windows 11. The problem that brought me here is that secure boot must be enabled in order to do so. I have found out how to do it through Asrock FAQ but in the end windows aren't booting and i'm being thrown into BIOS. That seems to be because of the drive being MBR instead og GPT. I am trying to use the mbr2gpt tool but i get the following error:MBR2GPT: Attempting to convert disk 0 MBR2GPT: Retrieving layout of disk MBR2GPT: Validating layout, disk sector size is: 512 bytes Cannot find OS partitions for disk 0The thing that stops the proce

W7 Hard drive partition issue

to get rid of that 100 meg windows partition that setup creates for you on a new install on a blank hdd:

- press shift+f10 when on the partition management screen in setup <-- this opens a command prompt
- diskpart <-- start the windows command line partition management tool
- list disk <--- list the installed hdds in this computer for the next step
- select disk 0 <- might have to replace 0 with the number of the correct disk
- clean <-- this will erase all data on the disk you selected one step up- dont use the wrong disk!
- create partition primary <- creates a primary partition taking up all space on the drive, adjust the command if necessary
- exit, exit to exit diskpart and the command prompt
- click refresh in partition manager and select your newly created partition and install to that

Suggestion: /? (-?) and /help (-help) command-line arguments to show a list of all possible arguments in a small window. *Smile
