  1. How to change the look of the "soundbar" back to windows 7 style?

I'm talking about the thing that appears when you click the speaker icon in the bottom right corner. Now in windows 10 it's all sideways and black and flat and ugly. I prefer the windows 7 look (when it goes up and down, and it's white and glassy).

How would I go about changing this? I have open shell installed already to change the start menu, start icon and taskbar looks, and I've added the windows 7 startup sound in the registry.

  2. LG Soundbar SJ9 shown as SiliconImage

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I appreciate your effort in trying to fix the audio issues on your Windows 10 device.

    1. What is the make and model of the computer?
    2. Are you aware of any recent changes made on the device?
    3. Which version of Windows is running on your device?

You may try the below suggested step and check if the issue still persists.

    Method 1

Set LG Soundbar as default play back device

    1. Click on Volume icon from the taskbar.
    2. Click on Sounds and click on
      Playback
      tab.
    3. Select LG Soundbar and click on Set as default to check the status of the issue.

You may also refer the suggested steps and try to follow the same from the article
    Help Library.

I suggest you to refer the article Fix sound problems in Windows 10
    for more troubleshooting steps.

If the issue still persists try updating the latest Firmware & Drivers from the
    manufacture’s website.

Click on Support section and select the preferred option under
Contact Us to get in touch with the manufacturer support for the further assistance.

    Hope it helps.

The win10 tray style is changed to win7.

Hello, unfortunately your query is unclear.

The title suggests you have Windows 10, and a tray style that is Win 7's and don't want it. However, your screenshot suggests what you actually dislike is Win 10's tray style, and want Win 7's.

You can simply drag icons from the notification area to your taskbar, and v. versa. No need for a Customise button.

And you can change which icons appear here:

    Rt click taskbar, taskbar settings.

    Appearance: anyway, this is mine:

    I use Aeroglass:

    - which changes the borders.

There are many things that are different from e.g. Win 7- some you can change, some you have to live with if you use Win 10.

Cannot change the default font style in Mail for Windows

    Hi Brian,

When composing an email, you need to click the message body first so that the font style settings will become active. The font style settings will not active if the cursor is in the "To:" field or in the "Subject" field because the texts there doesn't need
to be formatted. It is the design of the Mail app. When changing the font style, the settings that you've chosen will become active until you send the email. Once you've sent the email, the font style settings will return to default. Again, this is how the
Mail app is designed. The Mail app is working a intended.

If you're using the Mail app of Windows 10 and if you have a suggestion regarding the font settings of the Mail app, we encourage you to submit it issue using the Feedback Hub. You can either vote on an existing submission or submit a new suggestion. Please
