    I even didn't know, that my nephew entered a wrong date. Maybe you find a proper way to get my information in minutes instead of weaks.So Linux is less time consuming in the meantime, because of microsoft is still going for more issues, than solutions.BTW. The common 10 year old is able to create an account for a real person only lacking an own PC or numberless other possibilities.With this account can be played whatever the child likes e.g. on its own tablet.This seems too smart for the masterminds behind the scenes.regards

    How to change birth date of the child account?

    I am unable to change the date of birth of my child's account, which was entered incorrectly.

    The date of birth currently set is 2011 (which is should be 2002).

    I have followed the instructions on this page:

    As the account is set to 12 years old, the child is under the statutory age for my country.

    The steps above say to perform the following actions for a child under the age of consent:

    1. Using the adult Microsoft account, sign in to your account on family.microsoft.com.
    2. Choose the family member, select then Manage consent.
    3. In the Manage permissions page of the child’s account you want to change, at the right, select Edit this child's personal info and then follow the instructions.
    In step 3, the Manage permissions page does not show "Edit this child's personal info". instead, it simply shows the below screen.

    Cannot change birth date at child account.

    Hello

    Once i did create an microsoft account for my child. Accidentally i did choose wrong year of birth so she is underage. i didnt care about it untill Microsoft do some changes in policy privacy(?) and since then she cannot play multiplayer in Minecraft. As she is visible as underage i cant change year of birth and unblock options in policy privacy(?).

    Can someone knowledgeable help me solve the problem step by step or at least change the privacy policy in her account settings?

    mail of her account is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

    If you get the same error as the person then it means that you are in one of the countries that require an adult for their consent, just follow the given links and steps and you should be able to change your child's date of birth.

    And if everything doesn't work you can create a new account with the correct date of birth.

    Please let me know if this doesn't work or if you need further assistance.
