Windows 10: How to change the system baud rate for windows OS

Hi,I am using SerialPort class. There is a property name BaudRate. And I am setting the new value like 9600, 19200, 38400 etc.SerialPort mySerialPort = new SerialPort"COM4";mySerialPort.BaudRate = pBaudRate; //38400If My old baudrate value is 19200 and I have set new baudrate with 38400. then GPS data is not coming on new baudrate. It still coming on old baudrate.Also not getting there this value is setting.Kindly help on this.Thanks,Arvind

Windows Mobile 6.0 and baud rate in Advanced settings in internet connections

I want configure an internet connection with my Windows Mobile 6.0 device and Compact Flash GSM/GPRS Enfora modem. In Windows Mobile 5.0 devices was possibility to change the baud rate and type in an extra-dial string in Advancd settings, see screen:

To work with my enfora cf card and Windows Mobile 5.0 device in Advanced settings in internet connections I must change baud rate from default 19200 (in Windows Mobile 6.0) to 115200 and put an extra-dial string. In Windows Mobile 5.0 were four tabs in Adwanced
settings. Unfortunatly in Windows Mobile 6.0 there is not that's tabs but only two diffrent, see screen:

I do not can change there this unlacky baud rate.



My question is:

Is any solution to change baud rate from default 19200 to 115200?



I know that is a xml like configure method but I do not know what to do. Mabey someone give me step-by-step example.

I'm glad it worked for you. Thanks for letting me know.

I just figured it out on my own by fiddling around with the settings on my pocket pc that allows me to change the baud rate and then examining the registry settings to see what changed. Then I tested it to see if the baud rate changed when I modified those
registry settings.

 

Can't change Window 10 dial-up baud rate!

I create a dial-up connection between two computers. When I go into the Dial-up connection properties under General I can select the connection com port and pick the correct one. Then I click on the Configure button and change the maximum speed (bps) to
115200. It show original default as 19200. I click on ok then try to connect. My connection will dial-up but eventually fails. I go back into the dial-up properties and the baud rate changed back to the default (19200).

I tried doing the same thing but reboot after to see if it will save the configuration. Also tried creating more than one dial-up connections....same thing. Even went into the device manager and change the port settings there....not changes it keeps going
back to the default.

Any suggestions!

Is there a command line to force the braud rate to change?
