Windows 10: How to change to low IQ security / login settings for incorrect PINs in Windows 11?

I don't know what smooth brained, third-world, bug eater is responsible for the garbage pile of junk code that is Windows 11, but I've recently noticed a very annoying function that I want to deactivate.When the PIN is entered incorrectly multiple times the OS forces a restart which will lose unsaved data, then it forces a 30 second pause, then it forces another restart, all of this is beyond subhuman and pointless.How can I get rid of these dysgenic, bugman programmed settings?I don't want forced restarts, stupid codes, or 30 second waiting periods.

You can remove the pin of account b by following the steps below.

First log in to account b.

1. Open Settings on Windows 11.
   
2. Click on Accounts.
   
3. Click the Sign-option tab.
   
4. Under the “Ways to sign in” section, click the PIN (Windows Hello) setting.
   
5. Click the Remove button in the “Remove this sign-in option” setting.
   
6. Once you complete the steps, the PIN will be removed from the account, but you will continue to have access to the account with your password.
   

 

OSK PIN login on non-touch device

I suggest you to create a PIN for your device and try the on screen keyboard to login to the same.

You may follow the steps below to create PIN protection for your device.

  Go to Settings and select account.
  
• 
  Click on sign in option and Go to PIN option.
  
• 
  Now click on Add and set PIN for login.
  

You can use the same PIN to login to your device using the on screen Keyboard from ease of access option and verify the result.

Log-in Pin is incorrect after Anniversary update


I had the same issue after my update on Windows 10. I knew that my pin hadn't changed but it was saying it was incorrect. So I said that I forgot my pin and it started going through the steps to reset the pin entered my regular password and when the window popped up to set a new pin I said cancel and then I chose the option to set my pin later. I exited the screen, logged off logged back in, and set up a new pin which happened to be the same pin I had before and it worked. If this still doesn't work I can show step by step screen shots if you need. I have a surface 3 with Windows 10 fully updated 10.0.14393.0
