    How to change user on CMD line prompt?


    When I purchased my computer with Windows 10 Home, I entered a user name. However, over time that user name has become obsolete. I now have a new user name, email and password for my Microsoft account. When I go to the CMD line prompt it still shows the obsolete user name. As a result, there are some actions I cannot perform on the computer because the password for the obsolete user name no longer exists. How do I change the CMD line prompt to the current user name? I assume this will allow me to use my current Microsoft password to perform some actions on the computer - is that correct?

    Low ping from cmd prompt high ping in game

    Now the ping times are normal again 35ms-38ms cmd prompt 41ms from pingtest site. Just tested it 20min ago with 0 bandwidth usage on the router's monitor and got 35-38ms cmd prompt 160-350ms from 3 different ping test sites. As far as I can tell its completely random, the cmd prompt latency numbers are always same.

    I can live with this, I have for a long time now. I just want to make some sense of it.

    How to change user on CMD line prompt?

    Administrator/CMD prompt

    I need to run a CMD prompt but it says I need to be the Administrator. I checked Users and I see my name and it says I AM the Administrator, but when I pull up the command prompt it lists me by another name (a nickname) and not my full name that I see as
    my Admin User. Perhaps this is the problem?

    Thing is there are no other users on my laptop...help!
