    How to change your pin when you forgot the old one?


    So, I was playing a game with my friend on a PC. Everything has been normal up until today because it has asked me for my pin, and I have never had to put it in, nor do I remember setting it up. My issue is that when I go into my settings to change the pin it says I have to enter the old one. I can't change it and I can't seem to find another way around it. Is there any other way to change my pin? I thought that maybe I haven't set it up so, my friend tried to sign and see if I just haven't set it up yet. Do you have to restart your device entirely or can I request someone to reset it for me?

    create/change a pin when you forgot the pin and need the old one to create/change to a new one

    tried to create a new pin since I forgot the old pin but they require the old one to change to a new one. How is one to do it??? Thanks for help....

    I forgot what build # it was but it was created before the offical relase of Windows 10 (When it was in development)

    Forgot pin on laptop. it is listed in my MS account. Ask for a challenge question on sign in, I have no idea what that is. Gives a password hint, no idea what that means. I am 85 and not understanding instructions. Is there a way to go to the device listed on MS account and reset pin number. sorry, just old and forgetful.
