Windows 10: How to check my SSD actual storage?

Please help me!I bought an SSD which I used to install and store the OS. I kept crashing but originally, I didn't know it was the problem. I kept switching parts until I realized it was the SSD. On device manager, it says it's 4TB, but in reality it's not. How do I check the actual storage? I also think I got scammed on the external SSD too. If I can get some kind of proof saying it's fake, it would be nice because I need it inorder to return the item.

Storage showing as double the actual SSD size

Running Windows 10 Home 20H2 (Build 19042.964) on an AMD based Windows Surface Laptop 4 with 512GB SSD.

Even though it has a 512GB SDD as confirmed by both disk management and file explorer, settings -> system -> Storage reports the size as 951GB! I have searched but struggling to discover how to get it to report the real size.

Per the image below it shows

• 553GB used - bigger than the size of the SDD
  519GB in system & reserved

System and reserved breaks down per this screenshot




Have tried various options including disk cleanup, SFC and DSIM to get it to report the correct size but to no avail. Any suggestions on how to correct this much appreciated?

 

64Gb SSD for OS or 2Tb HDD for storage ?!

I suggest that you get the 2tb for storage. SSDs are only useful if you want to boot things fast like OS and programs. I actually suggest you get both if you have that many movies.

Why isn't System & Reserved listed?
I'm running 10 Pro 20H2 (Build 19042.928)





I have D:\users so documents etc isn't on C:
