Windows 10: How to check your Laptop Battery Health/Remaining Capacity in windows 10 and 11

Here is a process to check your laptop battery capacity and current estimated capacity and also monitor how your battery is running. Click on the start button on the keyboard or locate it on the screen, Type CMD and right click the Command Prompt CMD app, Select run as administrator, Click YES when the UAC pop up appears.When the CMD program opens, type "powercfg /batteryreport" without quotes and press enter, Locate the report file "battery_report.html" in any of the following locations:C:\Users\"user_nameC:\Windows\System32Open the report file with your favorite browser and run through t

Battery health report in Windows, what is remaining battery life?

Hi in my Laptop, Windows 10, I checked the Battery health and got a report.
I wonder if anyone can tell what is the battery remaining life at the ending
part of the health report:

"Current estimate of battery life based on all observed drains since OS install

Since OS install 2:23:21 - 7:08:49"

Remaining Months or years?

I shall be thankful.

 

Can anyone tell me how to check Laptop battery health ?

I'd say your current capacity should be fine for now. Usually, you would only need to replace your battery when the capacity gets real low (ex: 30%), or if you notice any swelling of the battery. Always immediately replace a battery if it's swelling any at all.

 

Acer battery won't charge

What if the battery unremoveable? Should I disassemble and remove it? also there is a switch underneath the case and around the RAM slot that prevent the laptop to turn on when the case is open and without the charger. Is that the same as removing the battery? although when turned on with charger, the laptop still see the battery. Thanks

I took the report, the design capacity was 41.440 mWh but full charge capacity is now 25.752 mWh. Is it that bad? Before this happened I believe HWMonitor also show the same number with 38% Wear Level.
