Windows 10: How to close mini desktops in Windows 11

These mini desktop windows open on my computer. I cannot close them, and they interfere with other tasks that I'm doing.I tried a web search to find the name of the process or service for these windows without luck. I used task manager to try and find the process or service. The problem is that I don't know the name of these icons. These open windows prevent me from clicking buttons to install programs.What is the name of these in task manager?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

windows 10 deleted my desktop files

Step 1 - I upgraded to Win 10 and lost all my files on Desktop.

Step 2 - Found the files in Network - USers- Desktop

copied all files again to desktop.

Step 3- Restarted my machine again and lost desktop files again.

Step 4 - As suggested did the following as listed below but dont find my files.

• Press “Windows + E”, open This PC/Computer
• Open Local Disc C, open Windows.old
• Click on Users, select your User name
• Go to desktop folder

Cant find my files. Why is Win 10 deleted files again and again from Desktop ?.

If you wish to access the Start screen similar to Windows 8.1, follow the below steps.

• 
  Press Windows + I keys on the keyboard to open the settings menu.

  Click on Personalization.
  
• 
  Select Start from the left navigation pane.
  
• 
  Turn on the Use start full screen.
  

After performing above steps, if you click on the Windows button at the top left corner on the desktop screen, you may access the Start screen similar to Windows 8/8.1 Operating system.
