Windows 10: how to close personal account

I seem to have a business account and a personal account, both with the same email address. I would like to close the personal account, and only have the company account. I cannot figure out how to do this. Help!

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

It’s (Past) Time to Close That Yahoo Account

Exactly. I'm just laughing at all those trying to shut down their Yahoo accounts like headless chicken....
Do these people even know where their security settings are, that Yahoo too has 2-step verification, and how they can set up individual passwords for less secure apps that don't allow 2-step verification?

Unable to update Microsoft account personal info. Can't use the Store with error: "Your account is missing some key info"

I suggest you to try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to log-in Live.com/ Outlook.com from the Microsoft account you are facing issue with.

Try to edit your personal information from the browser and check if the issue persists.

If the issue still persists,

Step 2: I suggest you to log-in to your user account from different browser on different browser, try to edit your personal information and check if the issue persists.

Step 3: If the issue still persists, I suggest you to run Microsoft account troubleshooter.
