  1. How to collapse OneDrive folder in File explorer

When opening a new file explorer windows, the OneDrive folder on the left is always open. I want it to be collapsed by default. Is there a way to do it? It blocks my Quick Access folders. I hate it.

  2. File Explorer OneDrive collapsed

I had already tried this, but tried again...to no avail.

This is how File Explorer opens:

This is what happens when I choose "show all folders" as you suggested:

As you can see, the hierarchy begins with "Desktop" and my OneDrive is listed twice...both still collapsed.

  3. File Explorer OneDrive collapsed

OneDrive on File Explorer is always collapsed--this changed a few weeks ago. How do I set File Explorer to always expand the OneDrive folders in the Navigation Pane?

How to collapse OneDrive folder in File explorer

Is there a way to collapse "redundant" folders in file explorer?

Hi I was wondering if there is a way in File Explorer (or a better file explorer replacement) to view a linear folder structure as one folder. What I mean by this is if I have a folder structure that looks like:

    Folder 1

    Folder 2

    Folder 3

    File 1

Is there a way to collapse it so the folder structure is the same, but the view is

    Folder 1/Folder 2/Folder 3

So you only have to double click once to get to File 1. Basically if a folder only contains one other folder, it automatically collapses it, and keeps doing this until it reaches a folder with a file in it, or more than one folder. And by collapsing, I don't
mean delete the folder structure and restructure it, just makes it so you don't have to double click a whole bunch of times just to reach the file you want. A lot of software development tools do this, and it would be nice if the file explorer could, or if
there is some other file explorer program that could. I have a lot of folders that do this for work, and it would be really helpful.

    Thanks
