    How to combine all the unallocated space in disc manager?


    Actually, I've partitioned three discs, but I now need extra room for the C drive, so I've taken a few gigabytes of space from another disc say d drive. There is currently no option to extend the C drive space. Now, what can I do?For testing purposes, I also attempted shrinking some space on the C disc just thinking that I may combine all the Unallocated space and expand, but at this point, I can only expand the space that I have already shrunk from C, not previously unallocated space.

    Hi Travis,

    It appears that a disk partition was created but was never assigned its allocation. Assuming there are no files stored in the unallocated partition, perform these steps to combine it with your C: drive:

    • In Disk Management, right-click on (CHow to combine all the unallocated space in disc manager? :) which appears next to the
      Unallocated partition.
    • Select Extend.

    Let us know if you're able to combine the spaces after following the steps above.
