How to *completely* get rid of that pesky login screen?

I'm really enjoying Windows 10, but something is really bothering me about it. When I boot up my PC (I have "fast boot" on my BIOS if that matters), I want it to go directly to my desktop just like in older Windows. But no, it shows this screen:

This is not my screenshot, it's an image I got from Google to get you guys an idea of what I'm talking about.
On that login screen, I can choose my local account or my @outlook.com account. If I choose my local account, I don't need to put my password. If I choose my @outlook.com, I need to put my password... and now you maybe be asking: why don't I simply use my local account? Because I use OneDrive to keep my personal things, and I'm not sure if it works with local accounts... but even so, I just want to get completely rid of that screen and make it boot to desktop without any interaction from me.

After some tweaking, I successfully disabled that stupid lock screen. This PC is for gaming, not to be a tablet-wannabe... but I can't seem to get rid of the login screen.

I did some more research, so I pressed

, ran netplwiz and disable this checkbox:

...to no avail. I still get that annoying login screen when I boot up my PC.

I feel like I'm missing something really obvious... so yeah guys, I would be so grateful if someone could help me. *Smile

If it matters at all, all my drivers are up to date and I have a legit Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) (upgraded from Windows 8.1).

    :)

  3. how do I disable on screen keyboard in windows 10 ?

I've tried everything -- this doesn't work either. Just rechecked all the settings and properties for "touch screen keyboard and handwriting..." They are as instructed here. Just can't get rid of the pesky onscreen keyboard!

How to *completely* get rid of that pesky login screen?

Lose the local account and do the netplwiz thing and after entering password it will sign you in. It won't work with both accounts.

As I clearly mentioned in the first post, I did that... and that's the lock screen, not the login screen...

So I was fiddling around with the registry, and I found a tutorial which forced me to put my password on my registry so Windows 10 automatically saves it and logs in. While this isn't 100% safe as my password can be seen if someone has access to my registry, it now allows my PC to boot up without forcing me to input my password all the time.

Unchecking the box in User Accounts as you showed then entering the password twice on the next window when you click Apply should have logged you in automatically too.
