Windows 10: How to Completely Remove/Reinstall/Install Task Manager?

Hello, I have encountered an unpleasant problem— the System process is utilizing my CPU at 7-21%.I spent a long time trying to find the cause. At first, I thought the issue was with Nvidia Drivers— but no. Then, I suspected peripheral devices— again, no.After a long investigation, I decided to install Windows on a new M.2 SSD, and I noticed strange behavior in Task Manager— it was updating data inconsistently.Normally, updates occur in the following cycle:Wait → Update → Wait → Update, and this repeats in a loop.However, in my case, updates occurred like this:Wait → Wait → Update → UpdateWhile

Remove Firefox completely, and then reinstall it.

I had a few problems after the latest update to 80.0.1 solved by making a few settings changes and disabling some addons. There was slow page loading, even slower when opening a new tab plus the browser or tabs crashing at times.

All is okay now without reinstalling.

Suggest:

Launch in Firefox safe mode and see if it works okay. (Firefox safe mode - not windows safe mode)

Start Firefox Task Manager (not windows task manager) and look for high memory usage by any addon.

Use Firefox profile manager to create a new profile and test the new profile.

No restart button in task manager

another easy way to kill tasks, download and install Winaero Tweaker(free) and theres a setting to add a Kill non responding tasks using the desktop right click menu. When you place your cursor on the desktop anywhere and right click the option is at the top of the list, Very handy and you dont have to go through all those steps and well Winaero Tweaker has alot of cool Windows tweaks. Just posting a different suggestion, Im sure your ok with what was suggested here.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
