I don't know what I did, but my file explorer now looks completely different than what the default is. Currently it looks like this, I want it to look like this, with the top and left panels both open. Anyone know what I did and how to restore it. +I have Taskbar Tweaker and I also used to have a custom dark theme which also made my file explorer and other apps dark mode if that helps, though I believe it's just something in windows rather than something like that. Here is the lists of tasks I currently have running if you still have any suspicions.

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond How to completely restore file explorer appearance. :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.

Best thing I can suggest is backup any files you want and do a complete OS reinstall.

Backup completed but no files listed in restore option

Hi. I've setup my backup options and manually run a backup which is shown as completed successfully. When I enter file history restore no files are listed. I've used explorer to display the content of my external drive and it looks like backup files have
been created. Why does nothing show in the restore program?
