Windows 10: how to completely translate the interface language on windows 10

the laptop was bought from China, and the interface was in Chinese, but when I changed the interface language, some words were not translated and remained in the same language

Important Info regarding Translations

• Only the tooltip texts will be translated (like the one in the screenshot, mouseover for entries in the main window and for the sensor labels).
• Submit suggestions only if you are a native speaker of that language and have experience with the technical terms used.
• Subscribe to threads of "your" translation so you can easily be notified of updates.
• Any language can be added as long as all/most of its texts are translated.
• Please make sure you use proper spelling, grammar etc.
• Translated texts will be provided to TPU free of charge and become property of TPU

To add a new translation, make a new thread in this forum. Do not make multiple threads for the same language.
You are free to use the target language in your discussions in that thread, but please use english if you want me to understand something *Wink

 

Bing translator with windows 10

Let me keep you informed, to translate any text through Bing translator in Internet Explorer, you just have to follow two simple steps as follows:

• 
  Select the text you want to translate.
  
• 
  Right click on the selected text and select the option translate with Bing.
  

As of now the option to set Bing Translator to the Edge is not available.

Installed Translator for Microsoft Edge but language is in Japanese

To clarify, are you pertaining to the Translator for Microsoft Edge? If it's in Japanese, this suggests that
the language settings were only partially applied, and we would need to completely change the
Windows 10 language to English. Here's how we can do that:

1) Change the language via Settings.

• Press the Windows key + I on your keyboard to open Settings.
• Click Time & language > Region & language > and then under
  Languages, click Add a language.
• Choose English, and install the language pack.
• Once finished, click on it and choose to Set as default.

2) Change the language via Control Panel.

• Press the Windows key + X on your keyboard and select
  Control Panel.
• Click Add a language > Advanced settings in the left pane >
  Apply language settings to the Welcome screen, system accounts, and new user accounts.
  
• Once the window opens, select Copy Settings and ensure the
  Welcome screen and system accounts and New user accounts boxes are ticked.
  
• Once done, click OK, and reboot your computer.

After that, you should be able to have English as the only language on your computer. Otherwise, please let us know and we'll continue to help.
