Windows 10: How To Connect A PS3 Controller/DualShock3 To My Windows 10 PC?

So In my childhood I had a PS3, and then I just thought why don't I play a game on my PC with my controller?. I tried to plug in my PS3 Controller into my Laptop but in my Control Panel. there is no "PLAYSTATION3 CONTROLLER" recognized. but my controller is Charging?I'm still trying to fix this. Windows 10 can't pick up anything, even my Windows 10 is up-to-date...I have watched to many tutorials and I am still stuck, help.

I have seen on you tube how people have connected their ps3 controller to N900. (not using N900 as controller but playing games on N900 using the controller)

Can someone please guide me step by step how to connect the controller to N900.
