Windows 10: How to Connect and Configure a Windows 11 or Windows 10 Device - Laptop or PC to a TV

There comes a time when you might want to connect your device to traditional entertain devices such as living room TV. Recently I had to do so and the process didn't come across as intuitive as I hoped it would be. Generally, the process is easy, but depending on your setup, there might be some work required to get things working. For most setups, if your television has wireless display support, you should be able to easily connect to it by pressing Windows key + P, click on Connect to a wireless display then choose your wireless display in this case your TV. Connecting LG smart TV to Windows 10 pc using WiFi direct

I'm having trouble connecting my LG Smart TV to a windows 10 laptop. When I go to Settings>Bluetooth and other devices I can see the TV in question listed under other devices with a note underneath "not connected". When I go to settings>wifi direct
on the TV it doesn't see the laptop. Any suggestions?

I suggest that you try the following steps:

Connect your PC and TV in same network

Tap Start - Settings

Open Devices. On the left-side menu, select Connected devices

Tap Add a device

Tap on your TV follow the configuration

However sometimes it is enough to right click on the desktop and go to Display settings.
