    How to connect my phone to my PC WITHOUT using mobile connect ?


    I recently switched from a Windows 10 pc to a W11 one. I used to be able to just connect my phone to my pc using an USB cable but now when I do it, the files browser doesn't detect it and it seems i have to go through a long process of registering in that "mobile connect" app.To be clear, I don't want nor need to synchronize my phone to my pc or whatever Microsoft wants me to do, I just want to be able to access my files quickly with a cable like we could before. Honestly, all those new features are just plain unuseful and overcomplicate simple things and if anything, it's just making me co
