Windows 10: How To Connect My PS3 Controller to My Windows 10 PC

So I brought a PS3 Controller 3 days ago alongside the wire for it. I tried to plug in my PS3 Controller into my Laptop but in my Control Panel. there is no "PLAYSTATION3 CONTROLLER" recognized. but my controller is Charging? I want to do this wireless but I know what to do 1st—wired connection 1st before anything wireless.I'm still trying to fix this. Windows 10 can't pick up anything even my Windows 8.1 Laptop can't pick up anything.My Drivers Are updated already via 3rd-Party apps Drivers Updater, even My Windows 10 is up-to-date.Can someone help me here? Because I can't return this control

Connect N900 to PS3 controller

I have seen on you tube how people have connected their ps3 controller to N900. (not using N900 as controller but playing games on N900 using the controller)

Can someone please guide me step by step how to connect the controller to N900.

PS3 controller

I tried connecting my PS3 controller to my pc using motioninjoy and better DS3 tool but I am not able to make my controller work although I could see it listed in 'devices and printers'.I would be very grateful if someone helps me figure this out.Thanks
