Windows 10: How to connect two monitors together off computer tower

I have a sky tech gaming tower, i am trying to connect two monitors . One is a samsung, other is a ONN. I have used a hdmi adapter one female to two malesI have also used a VGA cable , they are turning on my main screen not the other how can i fix this issue?

new Tower issue

I have a new HP tower desktop and I am using my existing HP monitor. The Monitor gives an error of "Check Cable Connection". The monitor and cable both work with my old HP tower. Im thinking it could be a bad port on my new PC but I'm looking for suggestions before I ship it back

• What changes did you make in the BIOS? As making the changes in the BIOS is only recommended by Microsoft if done by the manufacturer.

Tower/Desktop?

Hello, there should be no hardware difference between the two. It's essentially whether you setup your rectangle shaped computer on its side (desktop) or upright (tower). Check the specs and see what the website thinks is desktop / tower. As @marneu suggests, either model could offer different additions. We all have flatscreen monitors now, so it shouldn't matter if the machine is desktop or a tower.
