Windows 10: How to convert 500gb ext back to normal storage capabilities

Hi there, I used an 500gb ext hdd as a bootable disk, now it is no longer required as such, how do I go about restoring to ext drive , for one thing it shows a capacity of only 35gb now , tried format I g already Regards Johan

Whilst duplicating threads would normally be frowned upon, I think it is both appropriate & worthwhile in this case. Attract the attention of suitably skilled TenForums members by calling your new thread Error during bulk copy from iCloud to a Windows computer with the problem description being, in essence, a compilation of your earlier posts here. {Most people see threads by looking through lists of their titles so the suggested new title would be noticed by forum members with Apple skills.} Add to your new thread's description a link back to this thread so people can check both threads if they want to. How do I turn a storage pool back into a normal harddrive?

A while age I converted my Toshiba Harddrive into a storage pool so I could fit more storage onto my Windows 10 laptop. I no longer need it to be a storage pool anymore and want to convert it back to its original state so it can work like a normal harddrive again.

I tried doing this myself by going into the disk management place and deleting the volume on it, but then it disappeared and there was no option to convert it back to a basic disk which I thought would be the last step. It completely disappeared and I don't know how to access my drive anymore as I cannot find it anywhere in my computer.

All the help would be appreciated as this harddrive cost me an arm and a leg and I really want it to go back to normal.
