Windows 10: How to copy only new files

I have two large folders and I need to copy only modified and new files from source to target folder, is there a way to do that with explorer in windows 10 ? or with a free tool ?

You can't copy a folder, thats why it generates an exception (you are trying to copy a folder using a copy file function).
You probably need to list all the files inside that folder and copy one by one
